“Middle age”

Ages 3 to 8 years old.  You don’t want to deal with house training, chewing, or other puppy behaviors. You want a companion and family member that is calmer than a puppy, but still has plenty of energy and playfulness. You want to have a good idea of the basic health, temperament and behavior of the hound before you bring him home so you know what to expect and how to prepare. You like to take your hound hiking, running or walking just maybe not every day.
