Howdy! My name is Whiskey and I am a 9-year-old male Basset Hound looking for my forever home.

I am a friendly and energetic senior basset who loves long walks, other dogs and playing with toys. I really love my monkey toy and will toss it up on my own and play on my own.

My family had a change in their living situation and could not take me to their new home, so they contacted BHRSC to find me a new home.

I’ve spent a lot of my life outdoors and untrained, but my foster family is showing me how to use my inside voice, use a dog door and go outside to potty.

I need a family who will continue to work with me on training and becoming an inside dog – I am a smart hound and eager to learn!
