Good day ladies and gents! My name is Trooper.  I’m a 5 year old fella and I’m pleased as punch to meet you!  I’m new to this area, rode in a while back on the old westbound wagon; I’m very excited to be here and I’m looking for a place to lay my hat. 

I’m hoping to find some nice digs without kiddos.  I like other critters but kiddos give me a bit of a fright because they are so high energy and can be unpredictable, and I’d like to be able to kick my feet up without any stress.  Overall I would do best in a quiet home without frequent visitors:  I’m friendly, but I need time to get to know people.  It’s a struggle for me to have lots of people in my personal space, especially if I don’t know them and haven’t learned that they mean me well yet.  Oh!  I’m also energetic!  I love going for walks, running around in the backyard, and snuggling with my humans on the couch.  Something happened in my past though that means I don’t like to be startled and try to protect myself if I am.  For this reason, we think it would be better if any fur siblings in my new home are older and calmer.
