Hi everyone! My name is Toro and I am a 4-year-old male Basset Hound desperately in need of a foster home.

I am a big guy and have a ton of energy, but I recently tore my CCL, which is the canine equivalent of an ACL tear in humans.

Surgery is my best chance of a full recovery, but I need a new foster where I can recover without stairs. I am on medication to help manage the pain.

I would also do best in a home without children, and with someone who has experience with resource guarding or is willing to follow a training plan with a trainer to work on resource guarding. The great folks at BHRSC said they can help with the training.
