Hello there basset rescuers.  My name is Simon, and we are old friends!  I am about 10 or 11 years old.  You all helped me out about 3 years ago, but alas I find myself in need of your love and assistance again.

I’ve been living with and loved by a nice family who picked me when I was at BHRSC before, but unfortunately their family and living situation has changed.  It was a tough decision for all of us, but they thought the best thing for me would be to find a forever family that can spend more time with me.  I am bummed, but I agree, because I love time and attention from people!

I’m a pretty relaxed fellow, and very sweet.  I can get excited about mealtimes, and I really like treats!  It’s good that I’m treat-motivated as I think it will help me get used to the ins-and-outs of house training at your house faster. I also need a family that will keep a close eye on my sunbathing time. You see, I have had some skin cancer spots removed and don’t want any new ones to pop up. But as you can guess, that means I am tough and determined to stick around and love on my humans for some time to come!

Simon is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  He has also had lab work, a veterinary dental cleaning and multiple masses removed and biopsied. His adoption fee is $200.
