Hi basset fans! My name is Shelby, I’m a 2 year old female basset hound and I’m thrilled to meet you.  I have been on a big journey lately that’s been a little confusing for me, but I know now it was all part of getting to you!

I’m in search of some new digs to call home; you see I really like food, and well, I’m not always a big fan of sharing it with other dogs.  I’ve been working hard on my table etiquette ever since I came to the rescue, and I am making really good progress.  In fact my mealtime manners have been pristine.  We think if my new home has other fur siblings or mini-humans, it will be best if my family has the time and patience to keep an eye on me around food and is ready to work with me if I have a manners relapse.

I’m a very sweet, precious girl and I would really love a new home where I can live inside with my family and get lots of affection and belly rubs.  I have lots of love to give in return, and lots of energy too, so we will have lots of fun together!

Shelby is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.  She has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning.  Her adoption fee is $650.
