Hi everyone! My name is Sarah and I am a 9-year-old female basset looking for my forever family.

I am a gentle gal who came to BHRSC all the way from Northern California. This is my second time with BHRSC – they first helped me find a home many years ago, but my owner couldn’t take care of me anymore. I did it before so I know I can find a new home and family to love again.  

I am crate-trained, fully house-trained and enjoy daily walks so I can sniff and explore. I have some medical needs and need pills daily, but I am pretty smart and know when there’s a pill in food. We will need to work on that and figure out the best medicine delivery system.

I am a timid dog and would do best in a quiet home. Older kids and dogs would be just fine.
