Hi there basset friends! My name is Sampson, and I am a strong and youthful 4-year old hound on the hunt for my forever home! I think that could be at your house…
For reasons completely unknown to me, I found myself left behind at a scary place called a shelter. I could tell immediately it was no place for a friendly, family-oriented guy like me, and thankfully the staff not only agreed, but also knew the great folks at BHRSC! So, a very long car ride later, here I am in southern California, single and ready to mingle! Well, actually, if I had an internet dating profile, it would say that I am really looking to settle down with a nice forever family, because that is what I want more than anything.
I’m a sweet fellow, but since not much is known about my background, I’m hoping you can be patient and give me a refresher on my indoor manners, like potty training, and some time to get the lay of the land at your house. I want to impress you though, so I will work hard (admittedly I might work harder if there are treats involved; I am a basset after all!).
One of the ladies I travelled with told me I was a real looker, so if an amiable and handsome fellow sounds like the perfect addition to your home and family, call BHRSC soon!
Sampson is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. He has also had lab work, benign mass removals, and a veterinary dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $500.
