Hi basset friends! My name is Roscoe, and I am an ADORABLE (everyone says so…and just look at my cute mug!), mellow, senior gentle-hound of 12 years on the hunt for a forever home where I can lay my head and love on my family.
I’ve lived with my human mom my whole life, but a few months ago she had to move for a new job. The new place was nice, but small and didn’t have a backyard. I’ve always had a yard to play in, and all of a sudden my human mom was gone more than I was used to for work. This was pretty disorienting for me, so I would talk about it to anyone who would listen. Well, I don’t know what’s wrong with some people, but apparently not everyone likes being serenaded by a basset hound. Anyway, my mom and I decided that since her circumstances couldn’t change, it might be best if we could find me a nice retirement home where I can have a yard again, and a family with people who are home a little more.
I’m pretty mellow – sometimes even a little shy. But I love when people are around and I love spending time with them. I also really enjoy going for long walks. But most of all, I just enjoy loving on and being loved by my people. I can’t wait to spend my days loving you!
So what do you think? Does a mellow, loveable, loving senior gentle-hound sound like the perfect addition to your family? Call BHRSC and let’s meet to confirm it!
Roscoe is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. He has also had lab work, a veterinary dental cleaning and surgery to remove bladder stones done. His adoption fee is $200.
