Hello there basset lovers!  My name is Rocky, and I am a very sweet 3-year old mostly-basset boy that has lots of love to give to a forever family.  In fact, my heart is so filled with affection that there’s even a heart-shaped spot on my chest to remind us both of all my basset love!

I came to BHRSC after finding myself in a strange and scary place out in the desert called a shelter.  I don’t know how I ended up there, I’m such a sweet and friendly fellow! I like everyone I meet, so it’s certainly not any lack of enthusiasm on my part.  I enjoy new experiences, but I’m not sure about this adventure – I think I’d just like to find a stable home and a loving forever family. Hey – I bet that could be you!

Some of my background is a little bit of a mystery, but I have all the best basset traits:  I’m mellow, friendly, and good-natured. My ears are a little bit shorter than most bassets, but the rest of me is all that rockin’ basset bod you all know and love!  What do you think? Rocky is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.  He has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $500.
