Hi basset friends!  My name is Pretzel, and I am a very friendly, energetic, and wiggly 3-year old basset boy looking for my forever home!  I can’t wait for us to meet because I am just sure that in no time I will wiggle my way into your heart!

BHRSC came and plucked me out of a scary place called a shelter.  I don’t know why I wound up there; I am such a sweet boy and so eager to make everyone around me happy!  I just love people and dogs, and while I want to make friends with everyone, I also want to spend lots of time with you.  We think I was not always treated nicely in the past, and I am just loving soaking up love from people, kids, and doggie friends.  Anyone who wants to be friends with me, I want to be besties with them!

I love to explore, sniff everything, and chew on whatever is around, but I’m a good boy about limiting that to toys when those are around.  I am learning the routine of being a good indoor boy and am making strides on my other manners training too. I am very eager to please and hear that you are happy with me, so I should do well if we continue these routines.  I’ll also do best in a home where I will have company most of the time.

Pretzel is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.  He has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $500.
