Hi, I’m Poni! I am a 7-year-old male Basset hound looking for my forever home!

I am a very good boy who has had some bad luck. My original owners abandoned me, and I have been bounced around quite a few times since then. Because of this, I do have some separation anxiety (who wouldn’t?), but after a few days with my current foster family, most of that has subsided! I would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day so I can hang out with you and make you laugh.

I am a happy, friendly, silly and sweet boy who loves people, food, toys, a cozy chair or cuddling in your lap, and bellyrubs. I am much happier if I go on a walk or two a day, and I have loved playing with the other dogs in my foster family.

Although I love walks, I do get very excited when I see other dogs or hear them behind a fence. My foster family has been working on this with me and has seen a lot of improvement, but I will still need some training and patience! Most importantly, I want to find my forever home of my own so I don’t have to bounce around anymore.
