Hi everybody! My name is Philo, and I’m 7 years old. My name is Greek for “lover” and boy do I love life! I love to tell everybody about it too! I have “personality plus” and I love to meet new people and see new places. Could this include your home?

I came from Utah in the big hound haul, and I really like to get out and explore this new Southern California thing so I can figure out how best to be a good SoCal surfer boy (I will try to refrain from counter surfing, but I can’t promise everything!). But I can promise an exuberant, happy attitude as we get to know each other and our neighborhood.

I am so happy that when we go for walks, I like to sing my song to tell everyone that I am here and want to meet them! I know the song says “when you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands” but I have a hard time clapping my paws. So when I’m happy and I know it, I just like to tell you about it, and go bouncing around to tell everyone! The ladies even tell me that my little basset backside “toodles” in the cutest way when we go for walks. I bet between that and my friendliness and singing, I will bring you lots of attention!

I even have plenty of friendliness to share with any other canine friends you might have. I am just so confident that we will have a great life together, and I just want to share my happy attitude and joie-de-vivre with you and your family.
