Hi there hound lovers!  My name is Patty and I am a 1-year old basset girl on a quest to find my forever family.  I don’t eat Peppermint Patties ‘cause chocolate is bad for dogs, but like another little girl with that name, I’m super-friendly, always up for an adventure, and can’t wait to be your best friend!

I lived with a nice girl in Los Angeles since I was an adorable little pup.  I’m still adorable, but I got bigger and some things changed for the girl, too.  She wasn’t able to take care of me like she thought I deserved.  She tried to find a home for me amongst her circle of friends, but in the end they decided I could find a more stable home through BHRSC.

I think that might be with your family!  I will be such a great addition.  I love to have fun with people – I like to go for walks and play with chew toys, and I know that both of those are activities I can do together with my humans!  I like to learn and try to figure out what makes you happy.  I have been working on my indoor manners and potty training, but because I’ve bounced around a little I haven’t quite got it mastered yet.  Will you help me?  I have lots of energy, so I think if we make my lessons about your home like a game, it will go faster and be fun for both of us!

Patty is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.  She has also had lab work done and a veterinary dental cleaning.  Her adoption fee is $650.
