Hi everybody!  My name is Oliver, and I am a year-and-a-half old basset boy with tons of energy!  There is still lots and lots of puppy in me, and I am looking for a forever family that I can love for a long time and that can help me learn how to be a grown-up hound.

I came to BHRSC when my family had to move into a small apartment and spend a lot more time commuting.  They thought that I need to be with a family that is not away from home all the time and can give me more of the time and attention I deserve, and I agree!  In fact I can’t wait to meet you!  I love meeting new people and dogs and trying to make friends – I want to be friends with everyone!  I also really enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, and going for walks so I can sniff everything.  And while I like all those things, even more I like to be around my people.

I love to meet and play with everyone that crosses my path, and I am just so exuberant about it!  Because of my puppy energy it might be best if my forever family is one that likes to be active with me and is willing to help me learn my inside manners.  I get along well with other dogs, but I am always wanting to play with them and sometimes older dogs just want to rest, so it might be best if any canine friends in our house are not seniors.

Oliver is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $350.
