Happy 2020, basset lovers! My name is Noelle, and I am a lovely 8-year old basset looking for my forever home for the New Year. Just before Christmas, I was rescued from a very scary place called a shelter. I am a very sweet and charming little gal, with a side of sass, so I just don’t understand how or why I was abandoned at a shelter. Thankfully, it was BHRSC to the rescue, and now I am just waiting for my forever family to come find me. I know that we are going to be the best of companions and love each other so much!
I’m quite a petite hound and my foster is working on plumping me up a little bit. But I enjoy getting my exercise too, and I like going for walks and playing with people and other dogs. I get along well with both dogs and cats – in fact I would really thrive in a home with other doggie friends! I have two speeds: nap time and busy little bee! I enjoy my naps and especially enjoy a comfy bed, but I also love to explore what’s around me, and spend time by your side enjoying all the pets and belly rubs.
I will let you know when I think we have missed meal time, but I’m generally not very loud. I am working on my house-training lessons and I think if you can patiently continue helping me with them after I move in, I will be able to master this task! I am also hoping you won’t mind helping me out with soft food. Among the other neglect I suffered was the care of my teeth: they’re not in the best shape, so I need to not over-strain them.
Noelle’s adoption fee is $350.
