Hello there basset lovers. My name is Molly, and I am a 10-year old gal hoping you might be just the family that I can move in with and love for the rest of my days. I’ve had a very confusing time lately and I just can’t wait to find my forever home.
There are some mysteries in my background, but who doesn’t like a little bit of mystery? Anyway, I’m not quite sure how because I am such a good girl, but I found myself at a shelter in Central California. Thankfully, the nice people there knew about BHRSC, and that’s when the adventure really started. I took a plane ride as the first leg of my journey to find you! Since then I’ve been hanging out with some other dogs and nice people while I wait to meet you, and they’ve helped solve some of the mysteries about me.
I have more energy than you might think for a hound of my age. I really enjoy going for walks and am well-behaved during my regular constitutionals, although I can move at a pretty good clip. I have kind of long legs for a basset, so there might be a little bit of beagle in my heritage too. I get along well with all the other dogs I meet and play with, and am well-behaved and not nervous about car rides (I mean, when you’re already a pilot, car rides are nothing!). My back end can be a little stiff sometimes as I have something called arthritis, but I think with your understanding I will keep managing just fine.
So what do you say? Doesn’t a friendly, easy-going gal sound like just what your family has been missing? Call BHRSC ASAP and let’s get together!
Molly is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. She has also had labwork done and a veterinary dental cleaning. Her adoption fee is $200.
