Hi basset friends!  My name is Millie and I am a sweet 4-year-old basset gal in need of a forever home.  I was rescued from a shelter out in the desert (it’s so hot for bassets out there in the summer!) and I am hoping to move indoors with a nice family – and maybe some air conditioning!

I don’t remember a lot from before the shelter, but together with the nice BHRSC volunteers we have rediscovered some things about my personality.  I am a very laid-back dog – I don’t get too excited or rambunctious about much of anything.  I really like to go for walks and I am very well-behaved on a leash, so I am hoping that we can continue with my regular constitutionals at your house.  Of course I like getting pets and treats from my people.  But overall I am a pretty chill, quiet, and well-mannered girl.
