Hi there! My name is Max and I am a nine-year-young basset looking for my forever home!  I just arrived on the Hound Haul from Oklahoma and boy am I glad to see these sunny California skies after our winter weather in the Midwest.  Now can I add some sunshine to your family?

I am a very playful basset and a fun-loving good boy.  I love being outdoors with people and one of my favorite pastimes is stretching out in a warm, sunny spot in the yard.

My best friend with my old family was a female dog in my age range.  Sadly she passed away and I am lonely without her, so I would be happy to find a new partner in my forever family.  I am also really good with cats, even though they don’t always want to play.  I do better when everyone knows whose food is whose, but that usually doesn’t take much adjustment and then we will all be just like the Brady Bunch!
