Hi there everyone!  My name is Maggie, and I am a super-sweet basset gal of 10 years looking for my forever home.

I have been with the same family for my whole life, and it’s been wonderful being part of an active gang of human brothers and sisters.  I love kids!  But the kids I grew up with have grown and left the house, and my mom and dad work so much that I have gotten lonely.  They think it would be better if I could be with a family that has time to spend at home with me.

I am a friendly girl with more energy than you would think for my age. I love to play tug and catch and go for walks, but really I just love being with the family.  I like any time we can spend together in the house – and I am totally house-trained, so we don’t have to spend time on that, we can go straight to playing and snuggling!  I adore kids and I get along well with other dogs and cats, so if there are any of those in our new home we will just be one big happy family!  I can’t wait to meet the whole gang – I just know our hearts are a match!
