Hi basset friends! My name is Turbo! I am 2 years old, and I am all charged up to settle in at my forever home with you!

I am not entirely sure how, but I found myself left behind at a scary place called a shelter. I think maybe it has something to do with the fact that I am a special little basset and I need a special family to help me out with some things. But I know that our friends at BHRSC can be the match-makers for me and my new forever family, and I can’t wait to meet you!

I have something called juvenile cataracts, so while I am not blind, I do have a limited field of vision. This can make me a little anxious when strangers approach and a little unsure of other dogs’ intentions toward me. It would be best if I can live in a home where I am the only dog, and that is generally quieter without a lot of strangers coming and going. I also need a family that can be sure to give me my eye drops each day. And also, one that loves cuddling. I LOVE cuddling with my people! Love, love, LOVE it! I do like to go for walks too, and I am okay with feline friends if you have any of those.
