Lola

Lola

Hi there basset friends!  My name is Lola, and I am a 7 year old émigré to California like many others – looking to see my name in lights (if by lights, we mean being just the basset companion to light up your heart and home!).

I have heard that someone gets off the bus in Hollywood with big dreams every minute.  Well, I just “got off the bus” in SoCal on the latest hound haul, and my fondest dream is to find my forever family.  You see, the family I used to live with had to move and they didn’t take me.  Thankfully, some basset rescuers knew just who could help, and here I am!

I used to have to live outside and I can’t wait to be an indoor dog.  It would be great if my forever family is willing to help me learn my best indoor manners.  I hope you don’t mind being a little patient about something else too – I am going through the treatment for heartworms, but it is going well and doesn’t have any impact on my enthusiasm for people, other dogs, and anyone that wants to be my friend!  I like all sorts of creatures, both human and canine – in fact if you are looking for more than one wonderful hound to add to your home and hearts, I get along well with Duke, who is also here at BHRSC.

Come quick to BHRSC and meet the perfect new arrival for your family today!

Lola is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350.
