Hi there basset lovers. My name is Linda, and I am a sweet 2-year old basset gal in real need of some love and patience. I recently came to America from Mexico and I heard this is the land of opportunity! I am hoping that very soon I will get the opportunity to find a forever family and loving home.
I am so thankful to be here because I was rescued from a very bad situation before coming to the U.S. and BHRSC. I was with some people who don’t love doggies as much as I know you all do and they were pretty mean to me. I even have some cigarette burns on my ears that you will see. Thankfully, someone got me out of that situation and brought me to BHRSC to help me find a forever family that can show me how loving humans can be and that there is nothing to be afraid of anymore.
In spite of my past, I am a sweet gal and I like people. I figure one day the affection I put out there will come back to me! You are just the family for that, aren’t you? I am looking forward to a loving, patient home. I need some help learning indoor manners, but I will try really hard! I just want you to be happy! I am not quite sure about other dogs just yet, but hopefully with some adjustment time I could be reassured about them.
What do you think? Is yours the home where I will be loved forever? Call BHRSC and meet me today!
Linda is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350.
