Hello friends – my name is Lady Bug and I would just love to fly my way on the breeze to meet you and your family!  I am about 5 years old and I have lots of love to give, and I really hope to find a forever home that has lots of love for me.  I came to Southern California in the last Hound Haul and boy am I glad – I had been abandoned in a rural area and given my sweet disposition (and corresponding complete lack of a killer instinct) I am not sure how long I would have made it.

Thankfully here I am and ready to join your family!  Since some of my past was a little scary I can get a little startled by loud noises, but once I know what they are I am okay.  I enjoy the company of other dogs, but given my preference for calm environments a hyperactive companion would be a little challenging for me.

I love to go for walks – I’m great on a leash and don’t wander.  I just like to be by people, so I’ll stick close by your side!  If you want to stop sometimes and let me lay in your lap for belly rubs, then that suits me even better!
