Hi basset friends!  My name is Kelly, and I am a super-friendly, gentle little 1 ½ year old basset girl.  I am looking for a loving forever family to be part of, and since I am such a youngster, we will have lots of time together!

I lived with a family for a few months, but then they went through something called a divorce and couldn’t take care of me anymore.  I have been living with a very nice man for about a year.  He takes me to the dog park every day!  It was a very hard decision, but he thinks I would do much better with a family with kids and other animals.  This is because I just love kids and people so much!  I am a very sweet girl and I love to be around people and give you all lots of affection.  In fact my favorite things to do are play with stuffed animals and be around people!

I like other animals too.  My man-friend has cats and we get along so well that we all take our snoozes together.  I am very gentle and submissive with other dogs; in fact at the dog park I usually roll over for the other dogs until they get to know me.  This is pretty reflective of my super-sweet personality.  I can’t wait to meet you so I can be the sweetest hound you could ever want to add to your family!  I have to admit I have been a little spoiled with people-bed access.  I would understand if you don’t want to do that, but I bet you will find me so sweet you’ll have a hard time saying no.
