Hey again, it’s me Katie. I know, you’ve seen me posted a few times already but I promise, this time I have an awesome update for you all! My friends at BHRSC did the math and boy have things changed since I became part of the family. Turns out, a basset can learn new tricks and I’m living proof. You see, I had back surgery last year and it’s been this whole thing. I used to need a wagon to get around and a harness to hold my back legs up, but guess what? Not anymore! No siree. 

Check this video out that my foster Mom took of me. I love to run around and play with my friends. My back legs are so much stronger now and I can’t wait for you all to see my progress! I am ready for a new adventure with new friends and new scents. Can we start over and rewrite the next chapter of my life? I would really like that.

I am a sweet gal who loves to explore on walks, I’m also a big fan of snoozing and ear rubs – boy, do I love the ear rubs! I am crate-trained, but still have some accidents in the house. I know with your help and some training, we can work through this.
