Hi basset lovers!  My name is Jones, and I am a 9-year old gentlehound in search of a forever family and retirement hearth to lay my head on (well, hopefully comfy bed and pillows to lay my head on!).

I have lived with my same family since I was just a pup and was a much beloved hound.  But there was something called a divorce, and now they have to move away some place where I cannot go.  We are all sad about this, but we know that coming to BHRSC for help finding a forever family is the best thing for me.  AND, the best thing for your family too, because I will be a GREAT addition!  I am a very sweet boy and I just know I will make your family super-happy.

I still have plenty of energy and I like to go for walks.  Sniffing things is my favorite thing to do!  I am totally house-trained and good about coming and going.  I like having a dog-door so I can take leisurely sunbaths in the backyard.  Mostly, I just love being part of the family.
