Hi there basset lovers.  My name is Harley, and I am a sweet 3-year old basset boy in need of a stable, loving home.  I have a big heart and many years of basset love in it to give, once I can just find a loving forever family of my own.

I was neglected in my previous living situation, so much so that Animal Control officers felt I needed to be rescued.  They took me to an animal rescue center.  The volunteers there were very kind and helped me clean up, but they knew my best chance to find a safe, loving forever home would be with an organization like BHRSC, so here I am!  I feel a little discombobulated by all the changes in my life recently, but I also feel sure that better things and happier days are just around the corner.

I like playing with other dogs.  I’m a little shy and cautious around people right now, but I’ve been warming up once I can tell that no one means me any harm and people just want to love me.

Harley is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  He has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning done. His adoption fee is $500.
