Hi hi hi basset friends!  My name is Ellie and I am so happy and excited to meet you!  I am a friendly family dog of 4 years, but I am in search of a new forever home.  Could you be the family that I can give my little basset heart to for the rest of my life?

I have been with the same family my whole life and I am a very sweet girl – they were sad to let me go.  But they are moving far away, and cannot take me to the new location.  Thankfully, they found out about BHRSC and wanted me to have the best chance at finding a loving new forever family, so here I am!

I am good with kids and other dogs, and I love to run around and play outside.  My most favorite thing ever, though, is belly rubs.  Will you give me lots and lots of belly rubs?  I will love you tons no matter what, but I will really be a happy puppy if I can roll over often for belly rubs.  I will work hard for them too!  I need a little bit of help finishing up my best indoor girl manners – sometimes I just get so excited about my people that I forget to head outside and don’t make it quite in time.  But if you are willing to help me reinforce my lessons (with belly rubs?), I am sure I will master that quickly.
