Howdy everyone! We are Dolly & Buster, a pair of 6 (ish) year-old hounds that are looking for our forever home together. We came to BHRSC from a high kill shelter in Oklahoma on Hound Haul #29.
Buster here – me and Dolly are best buds and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We get along with other dogs and are learning how to walk on a leash – I’d say we’re doing pretty well! We’re both crate trained, and I know that’s my place when it’s time to go to bed or when my foster family leaves. I came to BHRSC with heartworm disease and just completed the treatment. I am now enjoying the rest and relaxation part that follows.
Dolly here, and Buster is right, we love being with each other. I am a bit more clingy than Buster and have been described as “assertively affectionate.” I love to get attention and prefer to be a lap dog. I enjoy being with other dogs and can get a little anxious when I am out by myself with just my foster family.
We need a family who will provide some guidance as we adapt to a new home, but we know someone out there is looking for a great pair of hounds, so call the folks at BHRSC because we would love to meet you!
Dolly and Buster are spayed and neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Their combined adoption fee is $600.
