Hi basset lovers!  Are you ready to start your engines and welcome a new hound to your racetrack?  I am about 7 years old, so I don’t think I will be making it around the oval at record pace, but I am such a sweet girl I don’t think you will mind if we just take things easy together.

I am originally from Dallas and just came out to Southern California in the big Hound Haul.  It sure seems nice here!  I am hopeful I will find my forever family here.  I had a very nice owner in Texas, but then he passed away, and when his wife remarried, her new husband told her she couldn’t keep me!  As if! I think if it came down to dog or husband, I would keep dog, but I guess not everyone thinks like me.

I get along well with people and other dogs, but in spite of all the noise that you would find at the Speedway bearing my name, I really do prefer a quieter environment.  It would probably be best if I am able to settle in a home where there is not a lot of commotion.  That way I can focus my energy on being your doting companion.
