Good day basset friends! My name is Cooper; it’s a pleasure to meet ya! I made my journey to California all the way from Kansas City and I’m here searching for my new stomping grounds.

I’m a very sweet boy and I really want to find a family to love and that loves me back, but right now I am just awfully nervous about how everything is going to turn out. My life so far has caused me some anxiety. I know once I find the right family and can settle in that will get better, but we really think I would do best in a quiet home without young children, other dogs, or lots of noise. I would also really like it if my family was home a lot with me.

I have a big basset heart and a lot of love in it to give a forever family, but I need just the right special family that can help me to see that everything is going to be okay and bring me out of my shell. Could we maybe work together on this?
