Hey there, folks! My name is Waldo and this is my best bud Sheldon — pleasure to meet you!  Some people may think we are an odd pair — I am a basset and Sheldon is a basset/pitbull/weimaraner mix — but I can’t imagine a life without my best friend, so we really hope to find our furever home together!

I am about 8 years old and Sheldon is 6, but we are still young at heart and love to play in the backyard, although we can downshift to nap time pretty quickly.

Sheldon here, and Waldo is right, we’re best buds and I can’t imagine a life without him. He has a little bit of separation anxiety, like if I would go to the vet with our mom, Waldo could get a little afraid of being all alone.  We have been “brothers-from-another-mother” for a long time, and it’s pretty important to us that we get to stay together.

Waldo here again.  Sheldon’s got my number – I can get a little overwhelmed when I am completely alone or with too much stimulation. Sometimes when I’m resting in my own little bubble and I’m not ready for play but someone approaches me, I might let out a bark, but all I’m really saying is that I need a little time and space.

We know we might look like the Oscar and Felix of the canine world, but we love each other a ton and we have twice the love to give you and your family!  We would love to meet you and show you what good dogs we are, so come down to BHRSC and we promise you won’t regret it!

Waldo and Sheldon are neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on their vaccines.  Their adoption fee is $400.
