Hi there! My name is Captain Morgan and I am a 11-year-old male Basset Hound looking for my forever home.

I came to California on Hound Haul 25 back in 2022. Unfortunately, my family could not keep me, so I am back with the great folks at BHRSC to find my forever home.

I am a sweet senior hound who gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children and I love being around people. I have super long ears and lots of wrinkles, too! 

With all my wrinkles comes some maintenance, and I currently have skin and ear infections that require oral and topical medications. I will also need medicated baths for a while longer and prescription food because of my allergies. Once all of these things are under control again, I shouldn’t be too much trouble as long as my new family keeps up with my needs. 

I know it’s a lot to ask, but I could be a great fit with the right family and spend my golden years being a great hound.
