Boo!  No, that’s not a salutation, that’s my name!  I am a 10-year old basset gentleman, and along with my best friend Tootsie, I am trick-or-treating for my new home.

BHRSC helped me out about 8 years ago and placed me with a wonderful, loving mom.  Along the way she also adopted my terrier friend Tootsie, and me and Toots became inseparable besties.  We’ve been lifemates for so long now we can’t imagine life without each other, and it’s just so important to us that we stay together.  But I know anyone who loves bassets also loves friends of bassets, so I am not worried about you falling in love with Tootsie too!

We are really hoping your family has room in your hearts and home for us, because we’ve had to deal with some sad news recently.  Our mom had to go to a place called hospice. We are not 100% sure where that is, but we know we won’t get to see her again. We are leaning on each other during this difficult time, and hope to find a forever family that can help our hearts heal.  We’ll be a great addition to your family! We are friendly and very easy-going. We like all the normal senior dog things, like hanging out with people, playing with each other, and meeting new human and canine friends. And we are masterful nappers!

Boo is neutered and Tootsie is spayed, and they are both microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  They have also had lab work and veterinary dental cleanings. Their adoption fee is $300.
