Hi there basset lovers. My name is Biscuit, and I am sure hoping you have some love for me! I came all the way from Oklahoma on the Hound Haul just to find you! I am 15 years old, but in all that time no one bothered to get me proper vet care or let me live inside. BHRSC is already helping me out with vet care, but I am really hoping I can find a loving retirement home and forever family.

Because of my age and the fact that I’ve never been taken care of, I have some special challenges. Well, not challenges really, just things I’m learning to adjust to. I’m mostly deaf now, but my sniffer works great. I am heartworm positive from those mean outdoor mosquitos in Oklahoma, but we are working on that and would just need you to help continue the treatment. Even with that, I have a surprising amount of energy and have quite a fun personality. I’m very sweet and have lots of affection to give you!

I’ve always been an outdoor dog, even tied up in one place. I can’t wait to come inside and really be part of your family! Can you help work with me so I can learn my best indoor manners?
