Hi there! My name is Biggie and I am a four-year-old basset looking for my furever family!  It’s been quite a trek that unfortunately included a stint in a shelter out in the desert.

I’m not sure how I wound up there since I am such a good boy who loves walks, being outside, and my pack.  I am in good shape with lots of stamina, but can be a little stubborn sometimes if I find a scent I want to follow.  I am a huge fan of cuddling, belly rubs, and I will even sit on your lap if you let me.  I am also a great companion because I will follow you everywhere — what can I say, I really love my people!

I get along well with older children but need to build trust with my new family.  Sometimes I get startled if someone tries to pet me while I’m sleeping, but I’m sure we can work on that together.
