Hi basset friends.  My name is Bella, and I am a very sweet, loving girl of 6 years looking for my forever home.  I love being part of a family and I am hoping to find a new home soon!

I was with the same family my whole life and I am a very good girl – they said so lots of times and were sad to let me go.  But they are moving away, and cannot take me with them.  Thankfully, they heard about BHRSC and wanted me to have the best chance at finding a loving new forever family, so here I am!

I am good with kids and other dogs, and like to go for a little walk every day.  I am fully house and crate trained, so once I get the lay of the land at your place we won’t have any worries there. I am a little skinny though, so if you want to give me some extra “training” treats that is okay!  I like to do normal dog things like play with my toys, but mostly I like to give affection to my people.  I can be a little shy at first (especially right now, when I am not sure what is happening), but I just know that you are out there waiting to love me, and I can’t wait to love you too!
