Hi friends! My name is Beau; I’m a fun, loving, very handsome, young man at the age of approximately 2-3 years old! I came here to Southern California in a recent hound haul and am I ever grateful for my rescuers!

I had owners before where I lived but they moved out and left me in the back yard to fend for myself.  I will tell you it was a rough life for me, I had some bad days but luckily I am safe now with a wonderful foster and I am moving on up; just looking for some new digs to call my own!

I’m trying to gain some weight because I got a little skinny while I was on my own, so you may catch me peeking up on the counters to see if there is any yummy human food in reach; I’m not too successful though because my foster family keeps stuff out of reach…short dog problems! It would be great if you could teach me some manners for things like that and how to walk better on a leash.

I love to play with toys; they are the best things ever! I like to take them outside with me and just play and have a good time. I really like to play with other dogs, with people, and go for walks too!

After a long day of playing with my toys, hanging out with other dogs, and taking a stroll on my leash I prefer to lay down on my back, put my paws in the air and grab some ZZZ’s! I must say it’s pretty darn cute!
