Hi there basset lovers!  My name is Bailey and I am so hopeful we might get to become best friends!  I am a 5-year-old good girl and have always been beloved; but now I would love to be part of your home and family.

I love to go on walks and I get along great with other dogs – I like going to the dog park and meeting new doggie and human friends!  But I am one curious basset and will let my nose lead me in different directions, so it’s a good idea to keep me on a leash.  Like most bassets, I love to snuggle.  On the couch, in bed, or really wherever, I make snuggling a top priority and I’m quite good at it.  At night I like to sleep under blankets and will let you know if I am not warm or comfy enough.  Right now I am a little shy and anxious because of all the recent changes in my life, but I have always been good at loving and being loved, so I know once we know that lots of love is in store for each other, I will revert to my normal friendly self.

It would be better if my forever home doesn’t have young children – I can get a little afraid that the humans love them more than me!  I do enjoy being with other dogs, as long as they don’t try to get my food or toys – I can get a little possessive over those. Bailey is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.  She has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning.  Her adoption fee is $500.
