Atlas and Apollo

Atlas and Apollo

Good day, basset servants.  We are Atlas and Apollo, divine basset brothers of only a year and a half old, and we think when you meet us you will agree we are descended from the gods.

Hello there!  I am Atlas!  My namesake carries the weight of the heavens on his shoulders, and though my shoulders are broad, my aspirations are not as grand.  I hope only to bear the weight of your love, and offer you all of mine!

Apollo here.  I am named after the sun god, which is appropriate because like my brother, I enjoy napping in the sunshine!  Hopefully your house has some nice sunny spots where we can do that.

Like any divine creatures, we absolutely love it when our people pay attention to us.  We strive to be worthy of any praise lavished on us, so we promise to work hard on our best indoor manners when we move in with you, as we’ve not had much training.  Who wants to train when you can gaze on all this wrinkly handsomeness?  We do hope to begin a little walking or exercise routine though.  As you can see, we are big-framed fellows, so we need to put the work in to ensure not too much meat attaches to these big bones.  But along with big bones come our big, mellow hearts, which we can’t wait to give to you.

What do you think?  Is your home just crying out for all this hound dog love?  Call BHRSC today and let’s set up a meeting!  We can’t wait to meet you and be part of your family!

Atlas and Apollo are both neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.  They have also had lab work and veterinary dental cleanings.  Their adoption fee is $1,200.
