Hey there! My name is Nala and I am a petite, 8-year-old female Basset Hound looking for my forever home.

I was found abandoned in a park and the previous owner listed on my microchip was called, but they decided they did not want me back. That is their loss though, because I am a wonderful hound! I am sweet and friendly, I love being around people and getting snuggles, I am great on a leash, and I get along with other dogs, too!

The other dogs in my foster home are helping me learn the ropes with my potty training, and I need a patient family that will continue helping me. I was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit. I also take medication to help with that.
