Hi everyone! My name is Remy and I am a 3-year-old male Basset Hound looking for my forever home.

It takes me some time to get to know new people and build trust, but once I do, I am very sweet, loving, and affectionate. I have already learned so much in my foster home including how to sit, stay, and how to shake with my right paw. I really like playing with squeaky toys, playing with my foster dad, and doing zoomies all through the house. I am a very energetic dog that loves to go on walks, also.

Due to some things that happened in my past, I am reactive around other dogs so I need to be the only dog in the home. I am also reactive to other dogs I see while out on walks, but my foster has been working diligently to help me in this area.

I need a family who is patient and will help me feel safe. I am doing so much better with my foster who understands how to work with me and it’s important that I continue my training.
