Be Copper’s Virtual Valentine
Be Copper's Virtual Valentine
Copper is a sweet, 7 year old boy who is just so playful and energetic. He was surrendered to BHRSC after his owners could no longer care for him. After being in a BHRSC foster home for only five days, he was taken to the ER because he suddenly lost use of his right rear leg, couldn’t walk, and was in a lot of pain. After an exam and MRI by a veterinary neurologist, it was determined that Copper needed surgery for a disc compression at his L1-L2 vertebrae. Without this surgery, Copper may never walk again.
We are happy to share that Copper did great during his surgery and is recovering comfortably with lots of love and support. However, he needs your help. Please help us to support Copper on his road to recovery. The cost of the surgery was over $13,000. We can all come together this Valentine’s Day to show Copper the true meaning of love!
Please make your tax-deductible donation to support Copper.
If you donate $25 or more, in a single transaction, we will send you a BHRSC sticker pack and for those donating $50 or more, in a single transaction, you will receive a BHRSC Basset Hound stress ball as a special thank you!
There is no limit to how much you can help Copper. He is ready and waiting to receive his Valentines!
