About Rosie & Rudy
Please let us introduce ourselves. We are Rosie and Rudy, the new kids on the block. Rosie is a 7 year old female basset and Rudy is a 7 year old male basset and we are a bonded pair.
Our story seems to be one that is being told over and over again. We were rescued in our earlier years and lived a happy life. The people who adopted us were an older couple who have now run into many difficulties. The economy has gotten the best of them and they have lost their jobs and home and have no way to take care of us. We know they didn’t want to give us up….. BHRSC thought we were coming in for 3 weeks and they just couldn’t bring themselves to take us. We are sad this had to happen but you know us bassets, we keep a positive attitude and look forward to the next chapter in life!
We need to be adopted together as we couldn’t imagine life without each other. We are both house trained and we love both kids and dogs. We also love our squeeky toys. Rudy thinks it’s great fun to howl at them, he’s really baffled when they don’t answer back! We have spent quite a bit of our days outside so we are looking for a wonderful family that we can totally be a part of and stay indoors. We love to snuggle, cuddle and be silly. Nothing like a good couch to relax on and spend time with the family! Oh, and let’s not forget to mention food and treats, we sure hope lots of them will be coming our way.
Please contact BHRSC and come to meet us. We know there are better times ahead for us and hope you will be part of them.
Rosie is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to date on shots. Rudy is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to date on shots. The adoption fee for each is $350.
Rosie & Rudy are currently being housed in a boarding facility. They are looking for a foster home until their forever family comes for them.
