Hi there hound dog friends! My name is Luna, and I am an energetic and friendly 3-year old basset hound-bulldog mixed lady looking for a loving forever family and home. I think I could be a wonderful addition to your family – I have so much love to give, and I am so much fun to have around!

I was adopted as a puppy by a very nice family, but as everyone in the family has gotten older there has been less and less time for me. They thought it would be best if I could find a forever family that has more time to spend being playmates and companions with me. I am an excellent playmate and companion! I love all people, other dogs, walks, toys, playtime, and of course mealtime! I am maturing into a grown-up so I settle down nicely in the evenings, but I have lots of energy to burn all day! I love investigating my surroundings and I hope I can live somewhere there will be lots of playtime. My favorite game is tug-of-war with a toy or piece of fabric, but I also enjoy running and playing with other dogs at the park, at home, or any activity that involves sharing affection with you!

I’m told I have the best traits of both breeds: the body shape and coloring of a basset, ears that are floppy but not long enough to drag in my food, a cute bulldog underbite (minus any snoring!). I sometimes like to sing the song of the basset, and my tail will always tell you when I am happy.
