About Jethro & Layla
Hi everyone: we are a couple of experienced hounds that want to find a home together. Jethro has 8 years of basset experience and Layla has 10 years. Together we can offer you a wealth of experience sniffing, counter surfing and snuggling.
We were yet another casualty of the economy. Our owners lost their house; not sure where they went but wherever it was they couldn’t take us. Unfortunately, they didn’t know about BHRSC so they took us to a shelter. Not fun, not even a little bit.
We are now part of the BHRSC family, so things are definitely looking up. We’ve had a good bath (to be honest, we had let our hygiene go a bit) and we are feeling tip top. So, all we need now is a home to call our own.
We’ll share your couch, our bed and your life with you. Won’t you come and meet us soon?
Call BHRSC to make an appointment to meet Jethro and Layla.
Jethro is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Layla is spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for each is $250.
(This adoption fee can be discounted by 50% for senior citizens. If you are 65 or older, ask about our Senior Program!)
