Hello there BHRSC!  I am Jack, a senior hound in search of a restful retirement home to lay my weary head.  You might remember me from a few months ago when BHRSC helped me before. Well, I had a great home but unfortunately it didn’t work out so I am back with my foster family looking for a very special home once again.

I lived almost my whole life with the same human Mom and Dad, but time took its toll on our little family.  First my Dad passed away, and then mom needed to go to a special home. I couldn’t go with her, and the few relatives she had were not able to take me in permanently. .

I am a very good and mellow boy.  I have had a lot of changes in my life lately though, so I am a bit anxious. Loud noises and sudden movements startle me so I don’t think I would like a home with small children. I am well-mannered on walks and I love to take slow strolls. I am house-trained with a doggie door, too. I love to work on my tan in the backyard so a home with a grassy yard would be perfect for me. I also absolutely need a home with other mellow dogs. I don’t really play with other dogs anymore, but I feel much more secure when they are around.
