Hello basset friends.  My name is Bella, and I am a loving and energetic 3 year-old girl looking for a forever home.

I am looking for a family that has some time to be patient and help me solve some mysteries.  I have been living with a very nice family, but they got me from a shelter and not much is known about my background before that.  Maybe there were some not nice things, because I have had a little bit of a hard time adjusting.  I am very loving toward my humans, but I have not been able to learn to get along as well with the older dog in our house.  I am nervous in new situations, too. I can also be a little stubborn, so it would be great to find a family that can help me get this house-training thing down perfectly.

I’m really friendly with people and love to be around the family!  I tend to attach to my people very quickly.  I like to play with toys, and I really like to cuddle.  I do seem to like people better than other dogs, so maybe it would be best if I could be the only dog in our home.  That way, we can focus all of our attention on each other!
